Certificates Offered

At Achieve, we offer two certificate pathways–the Fast-Track to Employment and Comprehensive Transition Certificates.  Earning an Achieve certificate can start your path as a lifelong learner, bridge to other degree-bearing programs, or provide you with skills for entry-level employment as you take college-level courses and gain professional skills for any workplace.

Achieve Fast-Track to Employment Certificate Student Learning Outcomes

Fast-Track to Employment Certificate  – Short-term certificate focused on gaining skills necessary to get your first job.

Through campus, classroom, and workplace experiences, students will have increased independence, self-determination, and competence in:

  • Setting and communicating long and short-term goals;
  • Identifying and developing transferable and marketable occupational and job attainment skills;
  • Critical thinking skills including self-reflection of learning and information gathering and analysis.

Achieve Comprehensive Transition Program Certificate Student Learning Outcomes:

Comprehensive Transition Program Certificate – For those with a longer path to employment; provides an opportunity to explore career directions or more focused study.

Through campus, classroom, and career experiences, students will have increased self-advocacy, independence, and competence in:

  • Setting and communicating needs, wants, and long and short-term goals;
  • Identifying and developing transferable and marketable occupational and job attainment skills;
  • Community responsibility and membership through activities that foster and support engagement, sustainability, and social reciprocity;
  • Critical thinking skills including self-reflection of learning and information gathering and analysis;
  • Collaborating effectively with others, demonstrating respect for diversity and global perspectives, and recognizing and responding to varying levels of interpersonal relationships.
