Applying to Achieve at Highline College

Applications are Now Closed for Fall 2024.

Achieve collects applications for new students yearly January-March. Students are notified of acceptance no later than May 1st. Accepted students complete planning meetings over spring & early summer to begin college fall quarter.

Step 1: Attend an Information Session

You are highly encouraged to attend an information session to learn about the program before submitting an application.

Information sessions will be held at Highline College.

Achieve 2023-24 Information Session Schedule

We will begin offering informational events and tours in January for the 2025-2026 school year. Applications will be posted on our website at the beginning of 2025 as well.

Step 2: Gather supporting documents, including documentation of disability and guardianship

Examples of documentation of disability include your most recent IEP or a neuropsychological evaluation. Guardianship paperwork is only required for applicants with court appointed legal guardians.

Step 3: Required to Apply:

  • Achieve application
  • Documentation of Disability
  • Proof of guardianship, if applicable

Applicants may be contacted for an admissions interview.

Step 4: Submit application

Applications are currently closed for Fall 2024. Information on applying for 25-26 will be visible here once the application opens.

Tuition and Fees

Standard tuition and fees apply to Achieve. Financial Aid is available for those who meet eligibility requirements. Achieve does not make FA eligibility determinations.

Please apply for FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon as possible. See the Highline College Financial Aid website for further information.

In addition to the FAFSA application found at fafsa.gov, the Highline College Financial Aid office requires students to complete a variety of forms. We recommend visiting the Highline College Financial Aid office in person for assistance. Applicants should check their financial aid portal regularly. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure funding each quarter.
