Applying to Achieve at Highline College
Achieve is accepting applications earlier this year to allow students more time for planning. Applications are available November-February for fall 2025 enrollment. Students are notified of acceptance no later than April 15th. Accepted students complete planning meetings over spring & summer to begin college fall quarter.
Step 1: Attend an Information Session
College is different from high school and Achieve, like other certificate and degree pathways, has specific requirements. We encourage all potential applicants to attend an information session to learn about the program and make sure Achieve is the right fit for their goals.
Information sessions are held at Highline College or on Zoom.
If you require accommodations due to a disability, please contact Achieve at (206) 592-3526 (voice) or by email at achieve@highline.edu. Advance notice is necessary to arrange for some accessibility needs.

Tuition and Fees
Standard tuition and fees apply to Achieve. Financial Aid is available for those who meet income and disability eligibility requirements. Achieve does not make Financial Aid eligibility determinations.
Please apply for FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon as possible. See the Highline College Financial Aid website for further information.
In addition to the FAFSA application found at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa, the Highline College Financial Aid office requires students to complete a variety of forms. We recommend visiting the Highline College Financial Aid office in person for assistance. Applicants should check their financial aid portal regularly. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure funding each quarter.
